Town Officials collecting money from persons doing business in the Town
of Farmington shall hereby charge a fee set by resolution for any check returned
for insufficient funds, in accordance with Chapter 203, Laws of 1989.
Any person having had a check which was returned for insufficient funds
shall be required to remit any future payments only in the form of cash or
by certified or cashier's check.

Such fee (upon collection, those fees shall be remitted to the general
fund) may only be waived for those persons who can prove that it was through
no fault of their own that a check was returned for insufficient funds.
