Pursuant to the provisions of § 1262(d)
of the Tax Law, the Town of Schodack elects to receive a direct payment
of the amounts of such taxes imposed in the area of the county outside
the City of Troy as allocated to the Town of Schodack, in accordance
with applicable provisions of the Tax Law, to be used by the Town
of Schodack for any Town purpose.
A certified copy of this article shall be mailed
by registered mail to the Chief Fiscal Officer of the County of Rensselaer
before the first day of September 1971.
