No person, firm, corporation or organization shall keep or allow to be kept on property within the Borough of Clarion any cow, pig, hog, horse, chicken, goose, goat or any similar animal or fowl commonly identified as "barnyard animals," or any exotic animals such as, but not limited to, llamas, alpacas, emus, or similar or related animals, nor any animal or fowl, whether wild or domesticated, which would be raised for its fur, meat or eggs or other body parts, nor shall any pen or other structure be erected for the housing thereof within the limits of the Borough.

Any person, firm or corporation who or which shall violate any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be sentenced to pay a fine of not less than $100 nor more than $1,000 and costs of prosecution or, in default of payment of such fine and costs, to undergo imprisonment for not more than 30 days, provided that each day's continuance of a violation of any provision of this article shall constitute a separate offense.
