Under authority of the Town Charter, 61 Delaware
Laws, Chapter 501 et seq., the following chapter is hereby promulgated
by the Mayor and Council pertaining to the discharge of stormwater,
well water, river water or groundwater, sewer, industrial waste or
other wastes into the Town of Milton sewer system. This chapter is
promulgated to comply with state and federal regulations; to protect
the health and safety of employees assigned to sewer system operations;
to protect items of capital equipment utilized to collect, transmit
or treat wastewater; to protect the environmental quality of the Town
of Milton and surrounding areas; and to promote the health, safety
and welfare of the citizens and inhabitants of the Town of Milton.
