The position of Codes Enforcement Officer is hereby established to enforce
the chapters of this Code, ordinances, local laws, rules and regulations of
the Village and laws of the State of New York, or portions thereof, as hereinafter
set forth.
The Board of Trustees shall have the authority to appoint one or more
persons to the position of Codes Enforcement Officer and assign or allocate
the duties and responsibilities to each appointee.
B.
The Codes Enforcement Officer shall assist the Mayor in the enforcement of Chapter 216, Trailers, insofar as he shall make all necessary inspections, reports and recommendations.
C.
The Codes Enforcement Officer shall perform such other
powers and duties as may be assigned to him by the Board of Trustees.
