No person shall erect or cause to be erected any telephone, telegraph, electric light pole or other pole, structure or supports for supporting electric wires or other wires or cables or install or cause to be installed any conduit, cable or wire in, over or under any street, park or public place in the Village without a permit from the Superintendent of Public Works.

Any violation of any provisions of this chapter shall be punishable by a maximum fine of $250 or a term of imprisonment not to exceed 15 days, or both.
