The purpose of this District is to protect established neighborhoods comprised of single-family dwellings on small lots that are located in the Sturgeon and the Millers Run corridor; to provide opportunities for limited commercial development on properties that front on Millers Run Road, Station or Main Streets, as a transition between existing commercial and industrial areas while accommodating parking and traffic impacts associated with smaller lots; and to provide for compatible public, semipublic and accessory uses as conditional uses or uses by special exception.
In the R-4 Neighborhood Residential District, only the following uses are authorized:
