This article shall be known as "Ordinance No.
Three of 1988 of the Town of Stillwater, New York."
The Superintendent of Highways has the authority
to post traffic control signs and devices in accordance with the New
York State Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD).
The Superintendent of Highways is authorized
to install traffic control devices regulating stopping, standing and
parking within the Town Highway "right-of-way" to facilitate snowplowing
or snow removal operations for the period of November 1 to April 1
annually.
The violation of this article is a violation
punishable by a fine not exceeding $25. In addition thereto, the Town
of Stillwater shall have such other remedies as are provided by law
to restrain, correct or abate any violation of this article.
