Whoever, in a public or private place, engages in any one or more of the following types of behavior is in violation of this article and, upon conviction, shall be subject to a forfeiture of not more than $500 or a jail term of not more than six months, or both: violent, abusive, indecent, profane, boisterous, unreasonable, loud, or otherwise disorderly conduct under circumstances in which the conduct tends to cause or provoke a disturbance.
