Village officers and employees may reside outside the Village
of Monticello, but must reside within the County of Sullivan.

Editor's Notes: Former § 45-15, Residence of Deputy Village Clerk and Deputy Village Treasurer, as added 5-6-1996 by L.L. No. 1-1996 and amended 6-28-2004 by L.L. No. 8-2004, 6-4-2013 by L.L. No. 7-2013 and 8-6-2013 by L.L. No. 10-2013, was repealed at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I).

The Code Enforcement Officer of the Village of Monticello must
reside in the County of Sullivan or any county that is adjacent to
or abuts the county.

Editor's Note: Former Art. VI, Deputy Village Manager, consisting of §§ 45-16 through 45-19, which immediately preceded this section, adopted 2-20-2007 by L.L. No. 4-2007, as amended, was repealed 5-19-2008 by L.L. No. 3-2008. Subsequently, L.L. No. 1-2010, adopted 4-20-2010, added a new Art. VI, Deputy Village Manager, but L.L. No. 1-2010 was repealed 9-2-2014 by L.L. No. 4-2014.
