No owner or owners, occupant or occupants, person or persons shall at any time keep or maintain upon any property or premises or in any coop, crate, box, henhouse or other building, outhouse, yard or barn, within the corporate limits of the Village of Monticello, in excess of one live chicken, duck, goose, turkey or fowl of any kind, with the exception of roosters, which are altogether prohibited.

Any person committing an offense against any provision of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be guilty of a violation, punishable as provided in Article III, General Penalty, of Chapter 1 of the Code of the Village of Monticello.
