The Borough Council shall, by resolution, appoint an independent auditor every two years on the even-numbered years. The auditor shall make an independent examination of the accounting records of the Borough for each fiscal year and perform all other duties and exercise all other powers as authorized by the Borough Code, Act of February 1, 1966, P.L. 1965, No. 581.[1]

The office of elected Borough Auditor is hereby abolished.
