Vehicles and traffic — See Ch. 326.
Parking of vehicles in the municipal parking lot shall be restricted to two-wheel and four-wheel motorized vehicles only. Parking of any other type of vehicle shall be unlawful.
It shall be unlawful for any permissible vehicle, as defined in § 238-1 above, to remain parked in the municipal parking lot for more than 48 consecutive hours.
Loitering by any person in the municipal parking lot is prohibited.

The use of bicycles, skateboards, roller skates and roller blades is prohibited in the municipal parking lot.
The Borough of Marietta will not be liable for any damage to property or any physical injury suffered by any person incurred while using the municipal parking lot in violation or contravention of the provisions of this chapter.
The Borough of Marietta shall have the right to have vehicles which are parked in the municipal lot in violation of this chapter towed, and the cost of recovery of said vehicle shall be borne by the owner, to include reimbursement of any towing expense incurred by the Borough.
The regulations established by this chapter shall be prominently posted at the municipal parking lot.
This chapter shall be enforced by either the Susquehanna Regional Police Department or the Code and or Ordinance Enforcement Officer of the Borough of Marietta.
Any person who violates or permits a violation of this chapter shall, upon conviction in a summary proceeding under the Pennsylvania Rules of Criminal Procedure, be guilty of a summary offense and shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $1,000, plus court costs and reasonable attorneys’ fees incurred by the Borough in the enforcement proceedings. Upon judgment against any person by summary conviction, or by proceedings by summons on default of the payment of the fine or penalty imposed and the costs, the defendant may be sentenced and committed to the county correctional facility for a period not exceeding 30 days. Each day that such violation exists shall constitute a separate offense, and each section of this chapter that is violated shall also constitute a separate offense. In addition to or in lieu of enforcement under this section, the Borough may enforce this chapter in equity in the Court of Common Pleas of Lancaster County. The towing of any vehicle by the Borough of Marietta pursuant to § 238-6 of this chapter, and the recoupment of any towing expenses, shall not be waiver of the right of the Borough to prosecute violators under this section.
