[Adopted as Ch. 16 of the 1975 Code]
The office of Health Officer is hereby established
in and for the Borough of Lehighton, such officer to have the same
duties and to exercise the same authority as are prescribed by law
or ordinance for the Board of Health, which shall be supplanted by
such Health Officer. The Health Officer shall be appointed by the
Borough Council and shall serve at the pleasure of the Council.
