Licenses and permits — See Ch. 278.
No person shall in any manner, directly or indirectly, manufacture, sell, exchange, dispose of or give away or keep for sale any cigarettes or cigarette papers or wrappers without first obtaining a cigarette license from the Village Clerk in the manner provided in § 134.65, Wis. Stats. This section shall not apply to jobbers or manufacturers doing interstate business with customers outside Wisconsin.
The fee for a cigarette license shall be set from time to time by the Village Board.

Any person found to be in violation of any provision of this chapter shall be subject to a penalty as provided in § 1-4 of this Code.
