A. 
Where no specific level of offense or penalty is otherwise prescribed for any noncompliance with any chapter or provision of this Code, or of any rule or regulation of the Village, for purposes of conferring jurisdiction upon courts and judicial officers generally, the violation of any such provision giving rise to penalties pursuant to this section shall be deemed a violation as defined in the New York State Penal Law and, for such purpose only, all provisions of law relating to violations shall apply, and the penalty for any such noncompliance, action or failure to act for each violation shall be a fine not to exceed $250, or imprisonment for a term not to exceed 15 days, or both such fine and imprisonment.
B. 
Except as may be otherwise specifically stated in any chapter or provision of this Code, each day that any offense described in Subsection A continues shall constitute a separate additional offense.
