Qualified veterans in the Town of Tuxedo shall
be entitled to the maximum exemptions authorized by local law pursuant
to the New York State Real Property Tax Law (RPTL) §458-a.
In the event that the Town of Tuxedo is designated
as a high-appreciation municipality as defined by RPTL §458-a,
qualified veterans shall be entitled to the maximum exemptions authorized
by local law pursuant thereto.
Gold Star parents shall be included in the definition
of “qualified owner” pursuant to RPTL §458-a.
