A.
There shall be a Board of Appeals to consist of seven
members to be appointed by the Mayor with the approval of the Council.
B.
The successors of those now in office shall be appointed
for the term of three years from and after the expiration of the term
of their predecessors in office. No Councilman or other city officer
shall be eligible for appointment to the Board.
The Board of Appeals shall have the powers and
duties granted and imposed by the General City Law and such other
powers and duties as may hereafter be prescribed by law or the Council.
