This article is being enacted pursuant to the Interlocal Services Act (N.J.S.A. 40:8A-1 et seq.), which was repealed by P.L. 2007, c. 63, see now the Uniform Shared Services and Consolidation Act, N.J.S.A. 40A:65-1 et seq., to authorize the County of Warren to provide public health services of a technical and professional nature provided by the County Health Department, as an agent of our Municipal Board of Health, in compliance with the Local Health Services Act, N.J.S.A. 26:3A2-1 et seq.

This municipality shall enter into a contract with the County of Warren essentially providing that the County Health Department shall provide public health services which meet the standards of care and elective activities enumerated in Standards of Performance, as promulgated by the Public Health Council of the State of New Jersey. The public health service activities are categorized under "administrative and supporting services," "environmental health," "communicable disease," "maternal and child health" and "chronic illness" and are listed in said agreement. The Mayor and Clerk of this municipality are hereby authorized and directed to execute said agreement on behalf of this municipality.
