Overnight travel out of the City for all City officers and employees,
other than the Mayor and the Alderman-at-Large, on City business for
attendance at seminars, workshops, conventions or similar functions
must be authorized in advance as follows:
A.
If any member of the Common Council (other than the Alderman-at-Large)
wants to travel out of the City on City business to attend a seminar,
workshop, convention or similar function and such travel requires
at least one overnight stay, such travel must be approved in advance
only by the Board of Estimate and Apportionment.
B.
If any other officer or employee of the City (other than the Mayor
and the Alderman-at-Large) wants to travel out of the City on City
business to attend a seminar, workshop, convention or similar function
and such travel requires at least one overnight stay, such travel
must be approved in advance by both the Board of Estimate and Apportionment
and by the Common Council.
