[HISTORY: Adopted by the Common Council of the City of Watertown as § 25.10 of the former City Code; amended by Ord. No. 85-50. Subsequent amendments noted where applicable.]
The Common Council of the City of Watertown recognizes its responsibilities under § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and endorses the concepts of fair and open housing for all persons and prohibition of discrimination therein.
A. 
The Common Council of the City of Watertown hereby adopts § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and all subsequent amendments thereto.
B. 
The officials and employees of the City of Watertown shall assist in the orderly prevention and removal of all discrimination in housing within the City of Watertown by implementing the authority and enforcement procedures set forth in § 106.50, Wis. Stats.
C. 
The City of Watertown Building Inspector shall maintain forms for complaints filed under § 106.50, Wis. Stats., and shall assist any person alleging a violation thereof in the City of Watertown to file a complaint thereunder with the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development for enforcement of § 106.50, Wis. Stats.[1]
