A.
The Mayor and Council shall appoint and employ a qualified person
as Tax Collector for a term of four years, pursuant to and otherwise
in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:9-141 and 40A:9-142.
B.
Tenure shall be provided to the Tax Collector pursuant to and otherwise
in accordance with N.J.S.A. 40A:9-144 and 40A:9-145.
D.
The respective positions of Tax Collector, Collector of Utilities
and Collector of Arrears of Taxes (pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:9-143)
shall be hereby combined, as the Mayor and Council is satisfied that
reasons of economy and efficiency dictate that these offices be held
by the same person.
