No connections shall be made to a sanitary sewer which connections are intended to discharge inflow. Such prohibited connections include, but are not limited to, footing drains, roof leaders, roof drains, cellar drains, sump pumps, catch basins, yard or area drains, uncontaminated cooling water discharges or other sources of inflow.
All connections which contribute inflow to the sanitary sewer systems must be disconnected in a fashion approved by the Superintendent and upon direction of the Superintendent. Disconnection shall be immediate unless the Superintendent authorizes a continued connection due to an emergency condition which determination shall be in the Superintendent's sole discretion and judgment.
It shall be a willful violation of this chapter for any person to reconnect any inflow source which has been disconnected pursuant to this article.
The Superintendent is authorized to inspect any potential sources of inflow or potential prohibited connections of inflow set forth in § 206-61.
