The Marlboro Community Garden is hereby established for the support of recreational community gardens for residents to grow their own produce through best gardening practices. Benefits include the preservation of green space as residents work collaboratively and share information in gardening techniques. In addition, the Marlboro Community Garden will provide an educational forum for members to expand horticultural knowledge by way of cross-cultural and intergenerational connections as well as foster pride in a community-wide organization.
A. 
The Marlboro Community Garden will be operated by the Marlboro Shade Tree Committee established under § 337-1.
B. 
All rules and regulations, applications and forms will be established by the Shade Tree Committee subject to the review and approval of the Mayor or his designee.

The annual fee for participation in the Marlboro Community Garden shall be as follows:
A. 
Shade Tree Community Garden Plot:
(1) 
Resident.
(a) 
Four feet by 10 feet: $40.
(b) 
Senior, four feet by 10 feet: $30.
(c) 
Four feet by 20 feet: $70.
(d) 
Senior, four feet by 20 feet: $50.
(2) 
Nonresident.
(a) 
Four feet by 10 feet: $50.
(b) 
Senior, four feet by 10 feet: $40.
(c) 
Four feet by 20 feet: $80.
(d) 
Senior, four feet by 20 feet: $60.
