§ 135-1 Municipal Court.

A. 
Discovery. Provision of discovery materials, and the fees charged for same, shall be made in accordance with New Jersey Rule of Court 7:7-7 (§ 17-9).
B. 
Public Defender application fee. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 2B:24-17, the application fee for representation by the Municipal Public Defender shall be not more than $200 (§ 17-10).

§ 135-2 Alcoholic beverages.

A. 
Plenary retail consumption license (#33): $2,500 per annum (§ 64-2).
B. 
Plenary retail distribution license (#44): $1,722 per annum (§ 64-2).
C. 
Club license (#31): $188 per annum (§ 64-2).
D. 
One-day liquor license on a designated premises by a civic, religious, educational or veterans organization: $50; and for a one-day permit for any other organization: $75 (§ 64-2).

§ 135-3 Amusement parks.

A. 
The annual license fee for each amusement park premises shall be $250 (§ 68-7).
B. 
The license fee for each machine licensed, for the calendar year or any portion thereof, shall be $10 (§ 68-7).

§ 135-4 Animals.

A. 
The annual dog license fee for a dog shall be $6 for each dog that has been altered or spayed. The annual license fee for any unspayed or unaltered dog shall be $9 (§ 72-2).
B. 
The owner of a dog which has been impounded shall pay $10, plus $1 per day, to a total maximum fee of $15, prior to reclaiming an impounded dog (§ 72-5).

§ 135-5 Campgrounds and trailers.

The license application fee for each campground shall be $300 (§ 105-2).

§ 135-6 Returned checks.

Whenever a check in any amount payable to the Township of Eagleswood is returned for insufficient funds, a service charge of $20 shall be added to the account (§ 109-2).

§ 135-7 Excavations and soil removal.

A. 
In those cases where no provision for the amount of the fee to accompany the application for a license or renewal of a license has been made, the following shall apply (§ 131-33):
(1) 
Grading. For a license under § 131-15 of the Township Code:
(a) 
The sum of $200 where the area involved is less than two acres.
(b) 
The sum of $150 per acre or fraction thereof where the area involved is two acres or more, with a maximum of $750.
(2) 
For a license under § 131-16, no permit shall be issued until the fee of $15,000 is paid. The fee of $15,000 shall be paid in yearly installments of $3,000 during the term of the five-year license.

(3) 
Topsoil. For a license under § 131-17 of the Township Code, the sum of $1,000.
(4) 
For annual reports on nonrenewal years: $500.
B. 
Permit fee: $100 (§ 131-33).

§ 135-8 Flood damage prevention.

Certification regarding the Flood Hazard Boundary Map or the Flood Insurance Rate Map of the Township of Eagleswood: $10 (§ 145-24).

§ 135-9 Licenses and permits.

An application for an enlargement, extension, amendment or transfer of a license shall be accompanied by a fee amounting to 1/2 of the basic annual fee for the specific type of license involved, unless the fee for such an application is more particularly specified by a specific provision contained in any law, ordinance or regulation (§ 166-3).

§ 135-10 Mobile home parks.

The annual license fee for each mobile home park shall be $700, plus $9 per month for each mobile home located in such park (§ 176-5).

§ 135-11 Rental property — inspection on vacation.

The fee for a certificate of occupancy, including the review of statement and inspection, shall be $40. A fee of $15 shall be paid for each subsequent reinspection required due to a previously failed inspection. (§ 198-7).

§ 135-12 Public records.

A. 
The following shall incur fees for copies of government records which do not meet the specifications within § 204-2A:
(1) 
Duplicate tax bills: $10 for an initial duplicate copy of a tax bill; $25 for each subsequent copy of a tax bill for the same tax year requested by the same person or organization.
(2) 
Zoning Maps.
(a) 
Small-scale maps: $3.
(b) 
Large-scale maps: $15 each.
(3) 
Police photographs.
(a) 
Per eight-by-ten-inch black and white photograph: $5.
(b) 
Per eight-by-ten-inch color photograph: $10.
(4) 
Copies of Subdivision Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance or Mobile Home Ordinance: $50 each or the cost to the Township for purchasing copies of the ordinance from the code publisher, whichever is greater.
(5) 
Tax Map (full bound): $100.
(6) 
Tax Map (one-half bound): $50.
(7) 
Tax Map (12 inches by 18 inches) (single sheet): $5 each.
(8) 
Flood certification letter: $5 each.
(9) 
Ordinance Book: $75 each.
(10) 
Police reports: For accident reports not requested in person and not part of Municipal Court discovery, an additional fee of $5 for the first three pages and $1 per page thereafter shall be charged to cover the administrative costs of the report pursuant to N.J.S.A. 39:4-131.
(11) 
Certified copy of disposition of Municipal Court case: $5.
(12) 
Fingerprints: $10.
(13) 
Township Master Plan: $75.
(14) 
Duplicate tax sale certificate: $100.
(15) 
Certificate of official search for municipal lien.
(a) 
Initial certificate: $10.
(b) 
Certificate of continuation search within three years: $2.
(c) 
Certificate as to liability of assessment for municipal improvements: $10.
(16) 
Natural Resource Inventory: $25.
(17) 
Certificate for redemption at tax sale: $25.
(18) 
Copies of audiocassette, computer diskette or computer compact disk: actual cost of media.
(19) 
Certified copy of the following vital records: $10 each. At such time as said fee is payable, the Registrar shall also collect any fee mandated to be collected by the State of New Jersey for any such license or certificate.
(a) 
Certified death certificate.
(b) 
Certified marriage certificate.
(c) 
Certified birth certificate.
(d) 
Certified civil union or domestic partnership certificate.
B. 
Whenever the nature, format, manner of collation, or volume of a government record embodied in the form of printed matter to be inspected, examined or copied is such that the record cannot be reproduced by ordinary document-copying equipment in ordinary business size or involves an extraordinary expenditure of time and effort to accommodate the request, the Township may charge, in addition to the actual cost of duplicating the record, a special service charge of not less than $20 nor more than $100 per day (§ 204-2).

§ 135-13 Sewage disposal systems.

A. 
Initial license: if issued for less than three years, $5 per twelve-month period or portion thereof (§ 213-11).
B. 
Renewal license: $15.
C. 
Board of Health inspection at time of license renewal: $50.
D. 
Septic sludge removal operator permit: $250, initial; $150, renewal.
E. 
Septic sludge removal permit: $15.

§ 135-14 Sewers.

A. 
The connection or reconnection fee for the right to connect or reconnect to the Township's sewage collection system shall be based on the Township's estimate of fees necessary to partially effect the costs of system construction. The minimum fee for each connection or reconnection, subject to change based on the estimated costs for construction of the service connection or reconnection and system cost offset, is $4,000 (§ 215-28).
B. 
Annual service charges for sewer use (§ 215-29).

(1) 
The annual service charge as computed for a single-family residence shall be $710.
(2) 
The annual service charge as computed for 1.5 units shall be $1,052.50
(3) 
The annual service charge as computed for 2.00 units shall be $1,395.
(4) 
The annual service charge as computed for 2.5 units shall be $1,737.50.
(5) 
The annual service charge as computed for 3.00 units shall be $2,080.
(6) 
The annual service charge as computed for vacant land or unutilized system shall be $598.

§ 135-15 Excavations in streets and sidewalks.

A. 
Fees (§ 245-3).
(1) 
For repaving openings made in concrete pavements: $5 for each square yard of surface to be repaved.
(2) 
For repaving openings made in pavements of concrete stone block, asphalt or other material where the foundation is of concrete: $5 for each square yard of surface to be repaved.
(3) 
For repaving openings made in pavements of bituminous concrete or bituminous macadam with a crushed stone or telford base or stone block on sand cushion: $5 for each square yard of surface to be repaved.
(4) 
For repaving openings made in gravel pavements: $2 per square yard of surface to be repaved.
(5) 
For repaving openings made in streets paved with materials other than those hereinbefore enumerated: such sum per square yard of surface to be repaved as the Township Engineer shall determine.

§ 135-16 Taxicabs and limousines.

A. 
Taxicab license fees (§ 251-6).
(1) 
Certificate of compliance: $100.

(2) 
For each owner's license: $25.
(3) 
For each operator's license: $10.
B. 
Limousine license fees (§ 251-17).
(1) 
Each limousine service: $50, plus $10 for each limousine.

§ 135-17 Trees.

Application for a tree removal permit: $25 (§ 263-5).

§ 135-18 Waterways.

Boat stall or space at the public dock stalls at West Creek: a permit fee of $500 per year (§ 278-7).

§ 135-19 Subdivision of land.

Refer to Chapter 285, Subdivision of Land, for escrow requirements.
A. 
Application for an informal hearing of a minor subdivision (residential and/or nonresidential): $100, plus $25 per lot (§ 285-37).
B. 
Minor subdivision application fee: $150, plus $50 per lot, plus the applicable fee for a variance request, if necessary (§ 285-37).
C. 
Application for an informal major subdivision hearing and/or sketch major subdivision plan (residential and/or nonresidential): $200 plus $10 per lot (§ 285-37).
D. 
Preliminary major subdivision plat application fee: $500, plus $50 per lot, plus the applicable fee for a variance request, if necessary (§ 285-37).
E. 
Final major subdivision plat application fee: $500, plus $25 per lot (§ 285-37).
F. 
Requests for extensions to post-performance guarantee: $250 per extension (§ 285-37).
G. 
Requests for extensions of major subdivision approval: $500 per extension (§ 285-37).
H. 
Zoning permit: $10 each (§ 285-37).
I. 
Subdivision inspection fees: an amount not to exceed, except for extraordinary circumstances, the greater of $500 or 5% of the cost of improvements (§ 285-37).
J. 
Environmental Commission review: an additional application fee of $250 (§ 285-37).
K. 
Educational fees to be paid by an applicant submitting an application to the Land Use Board for review: $50, to defray the cost of tuition for required land use law and planning classes (§ 285-37).

§ 135-20 Site plan review.

Refer to Chapter 295, Zoning, for escrow requirements.

Preliminary site plan. The application fee to be paid shall be the sum of the site area and building area charges in accordance with the following schedule and conditions (§ 295-39):

Site area charge.

Gross site area of less than one acre: $250.
(b) 
Gross site area of one or more acres, but less than 10 acres: $250 for the first acre, plus $50 for each additional acre or portion thereof.
(c) 
Gross site area of 10 or more acres, but less than 50 acres: $750 for the first 10 acres, plus $50 for each additional acre or portion thereof.
(d) 
Gross site area of 50 or more acres: $1,500 for the first 50 acres, plus $20 for each additional acre or portion thereof.
(2) 
Building area charge: $50 per each 1,000 square feet or portion thereof of building gross floor area.
C. 
Final site plan application fee: $500 for the first acre, plus $50 per additional acre or portion thereof (§ 295-39).
D. 
Minor site plan application fee: same as the application fee for a preliminary site plan application (§ 295-39).
E. 
Requests for extensions (§ 295-39).
(1) 
Requests for extensions to post-performance guarantee: $250 per extension.
(2) 
Requests for extension of site plan approval: $500 per extension.

§ 135-21 Zoning.

Refer to Chapter 295, Zoning, for escrow requirements.
A. 
Conditional uses.
(1) 
Conditional use application fee when a site plan is not required: $250 (§ 295-39).
(2) 
Conditional use application fee when a site plan is required: $200 (§ 295-39).
B. 
Application fee for a request to hear and decide appeals pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70a: $250 per request or appeal (§ 295-39).
C. 
Application fee for a request to hear and decide interpretations pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70b: $250 per request or appeal (§ 295-39).
D. 
Variance requests pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70c(1) and (2).
(1) 
Application fee for a variance request for a detached single-family dwelling permitted in the zoning district and not part of a site plan or subdivision application: $250 per variance (§ 295-39).
(2) 
Application fee for a variance request for all other uses or structures, which may or may not be part of a site plan or subdivision application: $100 per variance (§ 295-39).
E. 
Variance requests pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-70d.

Application fee for a detached single-family dwelling not part of a site plan or subdivision application: $200 (§ 295-39).
(2) 
Application fee for all other uses or structures, which may or may not be part of a site plan or subdivision application: $250 (§ 295-39).
F. 
Application for a request to direct the issuance of permits for buildings or structures pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-34: $100 per request (§ 295-39).
G. 
Application for a request for an appeal pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40:55D-36: $100 per request (§ 295-39).
H. 
Zoning permit:
(1) 
Per permit: $25 (§ 295-39).
(2) 
Annual fee for a zoning permit for a home occupation: $100 (§ 295-21).
I. 
Special meeting fees.
(1) 
With Land Use Board: $1,000 per special meeting (§ 295-39).
(2) 
With professional staff of the Land Use Board: $250 per hour (§ 295-39).
J. 
Site plan inspection fees: an amount not to exceed, except for extraordinary circumstances, the greater of $500 or 5% of the cost of improvements (§ 295-39).
K. 
Environmental Commission review: an additional application fee of $125 (§ 295-39).
L. 
Educational fees to be paid by an applicant submitting an application to the Land Use Board for review: $50, to defray the cost of tuition for required land use law and planning classes (§ 295-39).
M. 
Forestry permit.
(1) 
Application for a forestry permit: $25 [§ 295-71D(4)(a)].
(2) 
Administrative fee: $250, which shall serve as reimbursement for any administrative costs incurred by the municipality during the ten-year permit period [§ 295-71D(5)].

§ 135-22 Country Fair.

A. 
Any vendor who wishes to participate in the annual Country Fair shall pay the Township of Eagleswood a fee of $20 and be entitled to receive a ten-foot-by-ten-foot space to sell its products at the fair. If a vendor wishes to purchase more than one ten-foot-by-ten-foot space, then the vendor shall be charged $20 for each additional ten-foot-by-ten-foot space to be utilized by the vendor.
B. 
Any vendor who contributes a product to the Township with a value of at least $10 for each ten-foot-by-ten-foot space which the vendor wishes to obtain shall be required only to pay $10 for each ten-foot-by-ten-foot space.
C. 
The product or products provided to the Township with a value of $10 or more shall be raffled off to participants during the Country Fair.
D. 
Any vendor which maintains a 501(c)(3) identification shall not be obligated to pay a fee to participate as a vendor at the Country Fair.
