Editor's Note: Former Art. II, Council on Aging, adopted 5-13-2013 ATM by Art. 29 (Art. XXII of
the Bylaws), was repealed 10-19-2021 STM by Art. 7.
The Town Moderator is the presiding officer of the Annual Town
Meeting, Special Town Meetings, and other meetings that he/she is
requested to officiate and to ensure that order is maintained. The
Moderator regulates its proceedings, decides all questions of order,
declares the outcome of all votes, and has other powers and duties
as provided for that office by Massachusetts General Laws and Town
bylaws.
There shall be one elected Town Moderator for a term of three
years.
