No. 1-1998 (Ch. 19B, Art. V, of the 1981 Code)]
The purpose of this article shall be to afford qualifying eligible
veterans to have excluded disability compensation received from the
calculation of his (her) income for the determination of the real
property tax exemptions for senior citizens.
The Town of Alden shall exclude veterans disability compensation
for those senior citizens applying for a senior exemption. Said veterans
disability compensation is to be excluded from the income calculation
made by the Town in reaching a determination of eligibility for a
senior exemption.
This article shall take effect February 2, 1998.
