A.
The Planning and Zoning Commission may recommend to the Board of
Aldermen amendments to the text of these regulations, or the Board
of Aldermen may on its own motion to initiate amendments.
B.
Proposed amendments to the text shall be advertised in a paper of
general circulation at least fifteen (15) days in advance of a public
hearing to be conducted by the Planning and Zoning Commission. After
the public hearing, the Planning and Zoning Commission shall make
a report and recommendation to the Board of Aldermen pertaining to
the proposed amendment to the text. The Board of Aldermen action on
the report and recommendation shall be final.
