All new streetlights or streetlamps constructed, erected, or
installed by any entity on any public road, street, highway, or right-of-way
and on or within any Village park or Village-owned land within the
Village limits shall only use light-emitting-diode (LED) technology
and shall be constructed or equipped such that LED lights shall be
the sole source of illumination or light emanating from the streetlight
or street lamp. The best available LED technology should be used whenever
possible.
