There is hereby created the office of Superintendent for the City Parks and Recreational Facilities of Concordia, said office to be filled by appointment made by the Mayor by and with the consent of the Board of Aldermen as provided for in Section 115.010.

A. 
The Park Superintendent shall at all time keep facilities and grounds of all City Parks, athletic fields, playground areas, Aquatic Center and Community Center in a manner so as directed by the Board of Aldermen. Said Park Superintendent shall provide for all maintenance to the facilities as required.
B. 
The Park and Recreation Superintendent shall provide for support staffing of all facilities in coordination with the Administrator, and shall work with the Administrator in proposing fee schedules for all City-related Park and Recreational programs and events.

The Mayor may, with the consent of a majority of all the members elected to the Board of Aldermen, remove from office any appointive officer of the City at will, and any such appointive officer may be so removed by a two-thirds (2/3) vote of all the members elected to the Board of Aldermen, independently of the Mayor's approval or recommendation.
