Borough of Elverson, PA Chapter 31 Planning Commission

§ 31-1 Planning Commission to consist of five members.

The Planning Commission of the Borough of Elverson shall consist of five members, who shall serve without compensation, but who may be reimbursed for necessary and reasonable expenses.

§ 31-2 Members to be appointed by Council.

[Amended at time of adoption of Code (see Ch. 1, General Provisions, Art. I)]

All members of the Planning Commission shall be appointed by Borough Council by motion.

§ 31-3 Provisions of MPC to be followed.

All provisions of Article II of the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC), as amended, are incorporated by reference in this chapter and shall be followed.

§ 31-4 Severability.

If any sentence, clause, section or part of this chapter is, for any reason, found to be unconstitutional, illegal or invalid, such unconstitutionality, illegality or invalidity shall not affect or impair any of the remaining provisions, sentences, clauses, sections or parts of this chapter. It is hereby declared as the intent of the Borough Council that this chapter would have been adopted had such unconstitutional, illegal or invalid sentence, clause, section or part thereof not been included herein.
