A.
A violation of this chapter or any portion thereof
is hereby declared to be a misdemeanor punishable by a fine not exceeding
$1,000 or imprisonment for a period not to exceed six months, or both.
Each week's continued violation shall constitute a separate additional
violation.
B.
Nothing herein contained shall in any way limit the use of any appropriate action or proceedings at law or in equity to prevent unlawful construction or to restrain, correct or abate any violation or to prevent illegal occupancy of a building, structure or premises or to prevent illegal acts, conduct or business in or about any premises; and those remedies shall be in addition to the penalties prescribed in Subsection A.
Whenever a violation of this chapter occurs,
any person may file a complaint in regard thereto. All such complaints
must be in writing and shall be filed with the Building Inspector,
who shall properly record such complaint and immediately investigate
and report thereon to the Town Board.
