The Supervisor and the Town Board have been focused on improving
both the Town's infrastructure and aesthetic appeal. It is the stated
policy of the Town Board of the Town of East Fishkill that when the
Town Board considers future development, enactments or amendments
to land use laws, rules or regulations, the Town Board may consider,
in addition to any other factors and the land use policies set forth
in the Town's Master Plan/Comprehensive Plan, the "Design Guidelines,"
the land use policies, principles and guidelines contained in the
"Design Guidelines," to the extent the Town Board deems appropriate.
All determinations made hereunder shall be deemed legislative decisions
within the Town Board's legislative discretion.
By resolution, the Town Board will adopt design standards for
the Hopewell Hamlet from time to time.
