The President of Borough Council is hereby authorized
to enter into that certain agreement with the South Hills Area Council
of Governments, a copy of which agreement is attached hereto and another
copy of which shall be filed and available for inspection in the office
of the Borough Secretary.
The purpose and objectives of the agreement
are to participate in the Community Development Block Grant Program
known as the "3 Rivers Wet Weather Initiative" and to provide for
the administration of certain Phase 1 projects under the administrative
consent order with the Allegheny County Health Department and Pennsylvania
Department of Environmental Protection.
The conditions of the agreement are set forth
therein.
The term of the agreement shall be indefinite.
The manner of financing the agreement shall
be as set forth therein.
Any property that must be acquired in order
to comply with the agreement shall be acquired in accordance with
applicable law.
No additional organizational structure will
be required to implement the agreement.
This article shall become effective immediately
upon the execution of the agreement.
