A.
Subject to compliance with all applicable provisions of § 21-803.1
of the Transportation Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, the
Denton Town Council hereby establishes the following roads as school
zones:[1]
(1)
Denton Elementary School zone: all public roads located within a
half-mile radius of Denton Elementary School, which is located at
303 Sharp Road, Denton, Maryland, the location and radius of which
is depicted on Exhibit A.
(2)
Lockerman Middle School zone: all public roads located within a half-mile
radius of Lockerman Middle School, which is located at 410 Lockerman
Street, Denton, Maryland, the location and radius of which is depicted
on Exhibit B.

The maximum speed limits on municipal roads in any school zone shall
be the posted speed limit.
