[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township
of Maplewood 3-1-2022 by Ord. No. 3051-22. Amendments noted where applicable.]
Commercial tree removal businesses shall register with the Township
Public Works Department by March 1 of each calendar year.
Information is to be provided on a form adopted by the Maplewood
Township Committee, copy attached.
An annual registration fee of $50 per business shall be charged.
This chapter shall be enforced by the Township Police Department,
Building Department, Health Department, Public Works Department or
other Township employee as designated by the Township Administrator.
Penalty for violation of any section of this chapter shall be
punishable by a fine:
If any section, paragraph, subparagraph, clause or provision
of this chapter shall be adjudged invalid, such adjudication shall
apply only to the specific section, paragraph, subparagraph, clause
or provision so adjudged and the remainder of the chapter shall be
deemed valid and effective.
Ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent with the provisions
of this chapter be and the same are hereby repealed to the extent
of any such inconsistencies.
This chapter shall take effect after final passage and publication
and as provided by law.
