Wherever a space is marked off on any street for the parking
of an individual vehicle, every vehicle parked there shall be parked
wholly within the lines bounding that space, and it shall be a violation
of this Part for any person to park a vehicle or allow it to remain
parked otherwise.

1. Unless otherwise posted, on-street parking on Township streets is
permitted, except for as follows:
A. No person shall park a vehicle upon any Township street between the
hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m., prevailing local time, and/or during
snow removal times.
2. Vehicles in violation may be towed at the discretion of a police
officer if the vehicle causes a traffic hazard or is interfering with
the removal of snow and ice.
3. The registered owner of any vehicle removed shall be notified of
the removal and of the place to which the vehicle has been removed,
where he or she may claim the vehicle upon payment of any and all
towing and storage charges. Neither the Township nor any of its officers
or employees shall be held responsible for any damage to any vehicle
occurring as a result of towing and/or storage of a vehicle parked
in violation of this section.
4. Parking for the purpose of discharging and taking on guests and for
loading and unloading by delivery trucks for the period of time necessary
to do so may be allowed.

It shall be unlawful for any person to park, or to allow to
remain parked, on any of the following streets or parts of streets
any vehicle other than a passenger car (which shall not include any
bus, motor home or passenger car attached to a trailer of any kind):

The following are established as special purpose parking zones,
and it shall be unlawful for any person to park a vehicle or to allow
it to remain parked in any such zone except as specifically provided
for that zone:

It shall be unlawful for any person to stop, stand or park a
vehicle (other than a pedalcycle) on the roadway side of any vehicle
stopped or parked at the edge or curb of any street, except that standing
or parking for the purpose of loading or unloading persons or property
shall be permitted on the following named streets on Monday through
Saturday, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and between
the hours of 1:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m., and for no longer than necessary
for the loading or unloading.

1. Parking,
stopping, or standing is prohibited in fire lane zones where signs
are posted indicating parking is prohibited. Yellow or red painted
lines may be used in addition to the signs to indicate the precise
area where parking is prohibited.
