No person shall leave outside any building or dwelling, or in any vacant lot, in a place accessible to children, any abandoned, unattended or discarded icebox, refrigerator or similar container of any kind which has an airtight door, or lock thereon, without first removing therefrom such door, lock or door hinges.
Any person, partnership or corporation violating any of the provisions of this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punishable by a fine not exceeding $1,000 or imprisonment for not exceeding one year, or both, for each offense.
