[HISTORY: Adopted by the Township Committee of the Township of Lebanon by Ord. No. 5-1985 (Sec. 14-2 of the 1985 Revised General Ordinances). Amendments noted where applicable.]
Whenever a qualified officer, employee or agent of the Township is called upon to witness a percolation test and/or soil log, the owner (or his designated agent) shall pay a fee for this service to the Township.

The fee per hole for each private sewage disposal system planned to be installed as a result of a percolation test and soil log shall be set forth in Chapter 205, Article II, Fee Schedule. The fee is for the witnessing of perc holes and soil log holes; any additional holes will be charged on the same basis. An additional fee, as set forth in Chapter 205, Article II, Fee Schedule, shall be charged for any rewitnessing with respect to the same planned private sewage disposal system.

The location of all percolation tests, including those that failed and soil logs conducted at the expense of the applicant and approved by the Board of Health shall be shown on the plan. At least two successful percolation tests for each lot shall be required, and one soil log for every lot shall be submitted. (No percolation test shall be closer than 20 feet or further than 40 feet, and additionally none of the percolation tests shall be more than 30 feet from the soil log).

All fees shall be paid prior to the witnessing service.

This chapter shall take effect January 1, 1987, with the exception that a single percolation test approved by the Health Officer, prior to December 31, 1986, shall satisfy the requirement for two tests.
