Whenever any ordinance of the Town of Barrington or state statute or regulation of any state agency shall authorize the Town Council of the Town of Barrington to set fees and charges, the Town Council may set such fee or charge by adopting a resolution referring to that ordinance, statute or regulation which authorizes said Town Council to set such fee or charge.[1]

Upon the passage of such resolution, such fee or charge as so established shall be collected in the manner and by the person provided for in such ordinance, statute or regulation.
Any such fee or charge adopted pursuant to the provisions hereof may be changed from time to time by the Town Council by adoption of an amending resolution substantially in the form called for by this chapter.
