Pursuant to authority vested in the Board of Trustees acting as a Board of Police Commissioners of the Village of Monroe, Orange County, New York, under the provisions of Article 8, §§ 8-800, 8-802, 8-804 and 8-806 of the Village Law, State of New York, and subsequent amendatory legislation, the rules and regulations, filed in the office of the Clerk and in the Police Department, are hereby adopted and published for the government, administration, disposition and discipline of the Police Department, police force and members thereof.
Any violation of these rules and regulations and any neglect of the duty imposed by them on the persons concerned will be made the subject of written charges by the Chief of Police and laid before the Board of Trustees acting as a Board of Police Commissioners.
