Pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 800 of the Laws of 1948 of the State of New York, it is hereby ordered and directed that the following-described City-owned lands, commonly known as "Sheridan Park," be discontinued as parklands, and it is further authorized and directed that said lands may be used for off-street parking of vehicles, including streets for ingress and egress:
Beginning at the northwest corner of Elk Street and South Swan Street; thence running northeasterly along the westerly line of South Swan Street for a distance of 368.34 feet to a point, said point is distant 116.0 feet southwesterly, from the southwest corner of South Swan Street and Sheridan Avenue; thence running northwesterly along the rear of property facing on Sheridan Avenue to the intersection of the same with the easterly street line of Dove Street; thence running southwesterly along the easterly street line of Dove Street for a distance of 239.09 feet; thence running at right angles or nearly so, for a distance of 66.0 feet; thence running northwesterly on a diagonal line for a distance of 383.49 feet to a point on said diagonal line, which is 205.72 feet distant northerly from the north line of Elk Street; thence southwesterly for a distance of 205.72 feet to a point on the northerly line of Elk Street, which point is distant 284.63 feet measured along the northerly street line of Elk Street in a southeasterly direction from the northeast corner of Elk Street and Lark Street; thence running southeasterly along the northerly street line of Elk Street for a distance of 1,108.13 feet to the point and place of beginning.
