A. 
Pursuant to the provisions of N.J.S.A. 40A:61-5, there is hereby created the position of Foreclosure Solicitor in and for the City of Egg Harbor City.
B. 
The Foreclosure Solicitor shall be appointed by the Common Council for a term of one year.
C. 
The annual retainer of the Foreclosure Solicitor shall be as fixed in the Salary Ordinance, plus such expenses as the Foreclosure Solicitor may incur in or about the performance of his duties. The salary shall include all services needed to be performed by the Foreclosure Solicitor.[1]

The Foreclosure Solicitor shall be responsible for the foreclosure of tax sale certificates as directed by the Common Council. He shall, unless otherwise directed by the Common Council, represent the City in all judicial proceedings relating to the foreclosure of the tax sale certificates.
