[Adopted as Article 1175 of the Codified Ordinances]
Expectorating upon the sidewalks and street crossings of the city, on
the floors and passageways of public buildings, on the floors of public conveyances,
on the floors of theaters, railroad stations and other indoor places resorted
to by the public in the City is declared to be a nuisance and is prohibited.
Whoever violates § 129-7 shall be fined $1 and costs for each offense and, in default of payment thereof, shall be imprisoned 24 hours.
