Every person owning, harboring or having custody
or control of an animal shall remove any feces left by such an animal
on any sidewalk, gutter, street or any other public area or any area
within 100 feet from any river, stream, lake, reservoir, wetland,
watercourse or floodway.
Any person violating any of the provisions of
this article shall, upon conviction, be subject to punishment by a
fine not to exceed $250 or by imprisonment for a term not to exceed
15 days, or both.
