Editor's Note: Sections 7-246, 7-247 and 7-248(a) and (c) of
the Code of Ordinances were omitted during codification. For state provisions
allowing regulation of carrying firearms on snowmobiles, see G.L. 1956 § 31-3.2-1
et seq.
No one shall carry a firearm, rifle or shotgun in or on a snow vehicle
or a recreational vehicle or on a trailer or sled attached thereto unless
such firearm, rifle or shotgun is unloaded and in an enclosed case, unless
he is a law enforcement officer or other person authorized to carry arms.
Any person who shall violate any provision of this chapter shall, upon
conviction thereof, be punished, for each violation, by a fine of not more
than five hundred dollars ($500.) or by imprisonment for not more than thirty
(30) days. The continuation of a violation of any provision of this chapter
shall constitute, for each day the violation is continued, a separate and
distinct violation hereunder.
