Property owners on the following streets may
apply to the Borough Manager for permission to plant trees in the
sidewalk area and to remove a sidewalk square up to three feet square
for the trees:
The size and location of the opening and the
type of tree shall be described on the approval letter of the Borough
Manager.
The property owner shall assume all liability
for the maintenance, care and replacement of the tree and for the
safety of all pedestrians.
The Borough Manager may revoke the permit and
require sidewalk repairs could the property owner fail to maintain
the tree opening and keep it clean and neat.
Notice to the occupant of the premises shall
constitute notice to the property owner.
