A. 
Whenever any vehicle shall be found parked on a public street or highway or parked on public property, in violation of any posted regulation, state regulation, rule or resolution of the Traffic Authority for the Town of Orange, a police officer may issue to the owner or operator of such vehicle a parking summons directing the owner or operator of such vehicle to pay to the Police Department, within 48 hours, the amount of $25 for each violation.
B. 
If the owner or operator to whom a parking summons had been issued fails to pay the $25 penalty within the prescribed time, the penalty shall be increased as follows:
(1) 
On issuance of a second notice: $50.
(2) 
On issuance of an arrest warrant: a fine of not more than $100.
A. 
Vehicles found in violation of handicapped parking regulations shall be fined $50 for each such violation.
B. 
If the owner or operator to whom a handicapped parking summons had been issued fails to pay the $50 penalty within 48 hours, the penalty shall be increased as follows:
(1) 
On issuance of a second notice: $100.
(2) 
On issuance of an arrest warrant: a fine of not more than $150.
