The annual compensation of the members of the Board of Commissioners shall be in the maximum amount as permitted by applicable laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as the same may be amended from time and/or the population of the Township grows all in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. As of the date of the enactment of this article and with the population of Caln Township being between 10,000 and 15,000 individuals, the compensation for each Commissioner is initially set at $2,600 per annum with said salary being automatically amended to the maximum amount as permitted by law without the necessity of further ordinance adoption. Said salary shall be payable monthly or quarterly as determined by a majority vote of the Board of Commissioners.
All members of the Board of Commissioners who are presently serving a term in office shall continue to receive the salary now being paid, unaffected by the provisions of this article, for the remainder of his or her respective term in office.

The compensation for the Treasurer of Caln Township shall be determined by the Board of Commissioners.
