A. 
From and after the effective date of this chapter, any owner or proprietor of any tract of land within the incorporated area of the City who subdivides the same as herein provided shall cause a plat of such subdivision to be made in accordance with the regulations set forth in this chapter and the Code, and a copy of such plat shall be recorded in the office of the Clerk.
B. 
No subdivision plat, hereinafter called the "final plat," shall be recorded unless and until it shall have been submitted to, approved by and signed by the agent as herein provided.
C. 
No subdivision plat shall be recorded unless all the monuments shown and described on the final plat are in place as evidenced by the certificate of a surveyor endorsed on such plat.
D. 
A final plat shall become null and void if it is not recorded in the office of the Clerk within six months from the date of approval by the Council.
E. 
Dedication of any platted street in a subdivision shall occur automatically upon recordation by the subdivider of the approved final plat.
